Job Summary Join us as we celebrate our 6th anniversary at Pellicano Vineyard, sharing our incredible wines with WNY in our new tasting room. Must be over 21 with experience in the foodservice industry. A fun team to work with and one of the fastest-growing brands in one of the cleanest wineries in the industry. Experience in Square POS is helpful but not required. Our wine staff serves wine & food, cleans and maintains the tasting room, conducts wine tastings, seats guests, and more. You will learn about our wines and our story and share the passion with guests. While generally a chill place to work, it can get very busy and fast-paced during special events. The Tasting Room is open limited hours and only 4 days per week, so this is a very flexible opportunity to work with a great team, with the flexible ability to switch shifts. Pay is well above the server minimum, and pool tips are included, making this a great paying job with employee discounts and shift perks!! In addition, you will have a voice in the overall operation of the winery, events, marketing, SSOPs, etc. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit Operate Square POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently. Conduct wine tastings confidently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, including glassware, tasting stations, and display areas Educate guests on our wine menu Support event setup and breakdown for special or private event Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging guests. Operate Square POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently. Support team leadership by collaborating with staff on daily operations, food and beverage service, and event execution.
