Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor Location:
Inwood, NY Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexibility required based on operational needs)
Compensation:
$65,000 annually

Direct Hire About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations for a fast-paced last-mile delivery and logistics environment. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient freight movement, maintaining shipping documentation accuracy, and supporting operations within a TSA-regulated facility. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and service goals are met. Coordinate inbound and outbound ground freight activities, including receiving, staging, loading, and dispatching shipments. Oversee last-mile delivery logistics to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries. Review and manage shipping documentation, manifests, bills of lading, and related transportation paperwork. Lead, train, and develop warehouse personnel while maintaining accountability for performance and attendance. Ensure compliance with TSA regulations, company policies, and all applicable safety requirements. Monitor inventory movement and warehouse organization to maximize operational efficiency. Partner with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment issues and maintain service levels. Assist with scheduling and staffing needs, including providing flexibility to support operational demands. Qualifications Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Lead, Logistics Supervisor, or similar leadership role. Experience in last-mile delivery or Freight Forwarding environments. Strong knowledge of shipping documents, freight paperwork, and warehouse processes. Ground freight experience required. Experience working within a TSA-regulated facility is highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational priorities.
