Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced US TK Live Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of live operations within our agricultural and livestock facilities. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient farm and livestock activities, while maintaining high standards of animal care, equipment functionality, and safety compliance. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a positive team environment, and support the growth of our farming initiatives. Responsibilities Supervise daily farm operations, including livestock handling, animal husbandry, and equipment management Oversee the safe operation of heavy machinery such as agricultural tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment Coordinate maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of farm machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting, livestock movement, and equipment setup in accordance with safety standards Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to farm operations, animal care, and equipment use Lead a team of farm workers by providing training on equipment operation, animal handling techniques, and safety procedures Monitor growing conditions in greenhouses or outdoor fields; oversee irrigation systems and horticulture activities Maintain detailed records of livestock health, equipment maintenance logs, and operational reports Support animal care activities including feeding, health monitoring, and ensuring humane treatment of all animals Implement best practices for animal husbandry and livestock management to promote healthy growth and productivity Skills Proven supervising experience in agricultural or farm environments Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors (including agricultural tractors), power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance (MRO) practices Knowledge of welding techniques for farm machinery repair or modifications Experience with animal care including livestock handling and husbandry practices; equine experience is a plus Familiarity with safety standards in production environments; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively Practical outdoor work experience involving manual handling, heavy lifting, and working in diverse weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to farming activities or inventory management Understanding of horticulture principles; greenhouse or growing experience is advantageous Ability to perform routine maintenance on farm machinery; troubleshooting mechanical issues efficiently Experience with irrigation systems and crop management practices; knowledge of sustainable farming techniques is desirable This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about agriculture who thrive in outdoor settings.
