Dainty USA is a leading North American food manufacturer with more than 140 years of experience producing high-quality foods people know and trust. As we launch our new manufacturing facility in Batavia, Ohio, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help build our production team, systems, and culture from the ground up. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, safety, food safety, performance, and team development. This role is responsible for building a high-performing operation that delivers exceptional quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while supporting our facility's growth from start-up to full production. What You'll Do Lead daily production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. Build, coach, and develop a high-performing production team. Drive operational performance through KPIs including safety, OEE, productivity, quality, and cost. Lead production planning, scheduling, staffing, and daily management routines. Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, and Manufacturing Excellence to improve reliability and performance. Champion TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, USDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and operational excellence. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 7+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience. Experience leading large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of production planning, performance management, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement. Experience in food manufacturing or another regulated industry preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a manufacturing start-up, greenfield facility, or major expansion. Experience with automated manufacturing, packaging, or food processing operations. Knowledge of TPM, OEE, RCA, FMEA, and visual management systems.
