Spray Foam Operations Manager North Central Insulation - Bellville, Ohio Full-Time | On-Site Position Overview North Central Insulation is seeking an experienced Spray Foam Operations Manager to lead the daily spray foam operations of our Bellville branch while serving as an operational and technical leader for spray foam production throughout the organization. This position is responsible for field operations, production scheduling, quality control, safety, employee development, equipment readiness, and customer satisfaction. The Spray Foam Operations Manager will also support Branch Managers in establishing and maintaining consistent spray foam standards across company locations. This position reports to the Executive Vice President and supervises spray foam crews and field supervisors. Key Responsibilities Direct daily spray foam operations for the Bellville branch and supervise spray foam crews and field supervisors. Plan production schedules, labor assignments, and equipment utilization. Coordinate project schedules with Sales, Scheduling, and Branch Managers. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate spray foam personnel. Monitor installation quality and perform field inspections. Promote a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with company, manufacturer, OSHA, ACC, and DOT requirements. Monitor labor productivity, material yields, and job profitability and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop, document, and maintain standardized operating procedures. Investigate and resolve customer concerns, warranty claims, and callbacks. Develop and conduct technical and operational training for spray foam personnel. Maintain strong relationships with spray foam manufacturers and suppliers. Coordinate equipment readiness and ensure crews have the necessary equipment to complete projects. Monitor inventory levels and material usage. Prepare operational reports and key performance metrics. Provide technical guidance and operational best-practice solutions to Branch Managers. Travel to company branches to provide coaching, training, audits, and operational support. Required Experience, Education & Skills Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in spray foam operations, insulation contracting, construction management, or related construction operations. Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising field personnel and leading production crews . Knowledge of spray polyurethane foam products and installation. Working knowledge of building science. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ACC requirements, DOT regulations, and other requirements pertinent to the building industry. Ability to read blueprints and specifications. Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and others. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving and insurance standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn industry software, including CRM systems. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, construction management, building science, or a related field. Current manufacturer certifications. Previous multi-branch operational leadership experience. Estimating experience. Budget responsibility. Bilingual ability. Schedule & Work Environment This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position that may include early mornings, extended workdays, and weekend work as needed. The position requires regular travel to company branches and jobsites. Work is performed at jobsites, warehouses, and the Bellville facility and may include exposure to construction environments, insulation materials, dust, noise, fumes, confined spaces, elevated temperatures, and working at heights. The position requires the ability to wear appropriate PPE and may require lifting and/or carrying up to 50 pounds.
