General Manager - Cemetery & Funeral Operations Lead the People. Own the Business. Make an Impact. We are looking for a proven leader to take ownership of a funeral and cemetery operation and lead it like a business. As General Manager, you are the CEO of your location . You will be responsible for the people, culture, sales, operations, financial performance, facilities, and overall family experience. This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain the operation. We want a leader who will build a strong team, grow the business, create accountability, and continuously look for ways to improve. What You'll Own Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team Develop managers and supervisors into stronger leaders Own the location's P&L, budget, revenue, expenses, and profitability Develop and execute the annual business plan Partner with sales leadership to drive profitable growth Establish clear goals, expectations, and accountability Oversee day-to-day funeral and cemetery operations Ensure an exceptional experience for every family we serve Maintain high standards for buildings, cemetery grounds, equipment, and facilities Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Identify opportunities to improve the business, operation, and customer experience This is not a behind-the-desk leadership position. We want a General Manager who knows their people, understands the numbers, walks the property, develops leaders, and is present where the work is happening. What We're Looking For We are looking for a business leader first . Funeral and cemetery experience is valuable, but it is not required. 4+ years of leadership and people-management experience Experience managing budgets, expenses, and business performance Strong financial and business acumen Proven ability to build teams and develop people Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills P&L or multi-department leadership experience preferred Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred Funeral Director license is a plus Funeral, cemetery, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, retail, or other service-industry leadership experience is a plus The Opportunity This is more than managing a location.
