Oversees the duties and activities of the manufacturing plant, general supervision of all phases of plant operations by performing the following duties as listed below either personally or through subordinate managers.

Job Description:

Operations Manager drives company efficiency, productivity, and profitability by overseeing daily business activities, optimizing processes, and managing resources. Objective to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and staff supervision to achieve long-term company goals.

Job Duties:

Provide the general direction and motivation to plant personnel with regards to manufacturing techniques, quality, production, housekeeping, tooling, safety, equipment, cost, manpower and all general company policies Administer and direct personnel policies with regards to job performance, attendance, holiday pay and vacation time/pay, safety incidents, accident investigations and direct disciplinary actions Monitor production and quality attainment through the use of daily production and quality reports, substandard production or quality. Investigate and correct any activities below established standard, establish long term corrective action plan when unable to immediately correct Manage activities of production, maintenance, materials, quality control. Lead cross functional activity with various departments and team members. Maintain positive attitude and work in conjunction with all Team members to promote that attitude throughout the manufacturing facilities Reviews production schedules, determines workforce required and directs operations through subordinate supervisors and shift leaders Work with scheduling and operate within the guidelines set forth by scheduling Overseeing non-productive personnel, trespassing, theft, company property and possible loitering Follow company policies, company safety policies and practice safe work habits. Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Office and Plant environments and frequent exposure to a manufacturing environment.

Physical Components:

Standing and walking 75% of work time. Some travel required. Education and Experience Required Four-year college or university program degree; or 10 years related operations experience
