Company Overview Fabriweld Corporation is a leading provider in short lead time contract fabrication, machining, and laser cutting. We specialize in large capacity machining with state-of-the-art equipment, offering comprehensive in-house services from design and engineering to assembly, welding, controls, and finishing. Our commitment is to deliver high-quality custom solutions efficiently and reliably. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and strategic Business Operations Manager to provide high-level leadership and administrative coordination for the Fabriweld office. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a critical bridge between departments, managing complex financial workflows, human resources administration, and operational logistics. Your leadership will ensure the consistent application of company policies while providing direct support to executive leadership and plant managers to maintain organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Strategy Cash Flow Oversight:
Actively forecast and manage cash flow with intra-day monitoring of the company bank line of credit and all accounts.
Accounts Management:
Oversee AR/AP operations, including weekly aging report reviews and customer credit application approvals.
Collections:
Direct and monitor customer account past dues and collections activities to minimize financial risk.
Budgeting & Strategy:
Develop and monitor the annual office budget while identifying opportunities to optimize financial outcomes.
Compliance:
Assist with annual 1099 reporting and support the administration of profit-sharing plans and external audits.
Human Resources & Team Leadership Team Supervision:
Lead and develop a team of office employees, ensuring productivity and adherence to the accounting month-end close schedule.
Benefits Administration:
Assist with general insurance renewals, employee health insurance oversight, and profit-sharing plan administration.
Culture:
Foster a collaborative work environment by treating all employees with fairness, consistency, and professional respect.
Operational & Fleet Logistics Regulatory Filings:
Manage company fleet vehicle licensing, registration, annual
IRS 2290
filings, and quarterly IFTA return filings.
Facility Oversight:
Manage building maintenance and janitorial contracts to ensure a clean and safe office environment.
Information Flow:
Facilitate professional communication between customers, vendors, and internal departments.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
3-5 years of progressive experience in office management or a similar leadership role.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in JobBOSS GSS or equivalent ERP software.
Strategic Competencies:
Ability to translate complex data into actionable information and strong organizational skills.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands & Schedule Mobility:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and navigate an office/manufacturing environment.
Lifting:
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move office supplies or files weighing up to 40 pounds.
Hours:
