Job Description

Directly supervise all aspects of the Community Care Ambulance Field Operations and ensure Field Staff performance and staffing is consistent with internal and external guidelines and protocols. Support interdepartmental collaboration and teamwork with departments and staff to achieve internal and external customer superior satisfaction. Daily Operations Plan (includes staff training and implementing policy and measurement tools) , monitor and ensure 100% daily preparedness compliance Organize staff and resources to allow for the greatest operational efficiency through the shift Monitor the shift workload and work with the Operations and Communications teams to redirect resources and priorities as necessary Provide patient care as needed to meet customer demands Develop and maintain strong collaboration with Communications Supervisors to create a cohesive, innovative team Workforce Development Review performance of crews, providing positive and constructive feedback and corrective action when needed Educate and mentor employees in order to increase quality, efficiency and the effectiveness of the workforce Administrative Conduct repetitive patient evaluations Track vehicles and equipment Investigate complaints, accidents, near misses and injuries and submit proper documentation in accordance with company policy Facilitate the flow of information and feedback from the field to CCA administration Work with the administrative team to address shortages in supplies, broken or missing equipment, vehicle problems and facility problems Refill medication containers according to policy Reconcile employee time cards Daily completion of reports Problem solve and address issues as they arise throughout the work day Participate in new hire orientation Participate in new hire interviews
Education:
Associates degree or equivalent experience. Paramedic preferred CICP or other recognized critical care training or certification preferred
Experience:
Experience with EMS transport Leadership experience Communications Center experience a plus
