Managing Director Lead Operations. Develop People. Apply Your Tax Expertise. RCG Tax Partners is looking for an experienced CPA and tax professional to join our leadership team as Director of Operations . This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can combine strong tax knowledge with operational leadership. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, improve systems and processes, develop a high-performing team, and remain actively involved in client and tax project work. RCG Tax Partners is a specialty tax advisory firm founded in 2004 and headquartered in Stow, Ohio. We specialize in R&D tax credits, cost segregation studies, and Section 179D energy-efficiency deductions . Our team has completed more than 25,000 studies and helped clients save more than $750 million in combined federal and state taxes . What You'll Do Lead Day-to-Day Operations Manage scheduling, projects, workflow, and resource allocation. Keep projects moving efficiently and ensure an exceptional client experience. Help ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and on budget. Improve Systems & Processes Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Implement and maintain scalable processes, systems, and technology. Help execute strategic initiatives as the firm continues to grow. Develop People & Culture Lead and support operations and administrative team members. Invest in employee development and performance. Help build a positive, accountable, and high-performing workplace. Provide Tax Expertise Remain actively involved in client interactions and tax projects. Apply your technical tax knowledge to help deliver accurate, high-quality work. Support projects involving specialty tax areas such as cost segregation and R&D tax credits. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Active CPA Bachelor's degree in Accounting 7+ years of tax experience Intermediate Excel skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Tax or Accounting Cost segregation experience R&D tax credit experience The CPA, accounting degree, and 7+ years of tax experience are required for this position. Pay:
$175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
