The Senior Director of Operations will oversee multi-unit restaurant operations, leading a portfolio of 20 locations across Toledo & Detroit . This individual is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. They will play a key role in strategic planning, process improvement, and execution of company objectives to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Must have multi-unit QSR Experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee day-to-day operations across 20 locations, ensuring consistency in service, food quality, and brand standards. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Financial Performance & Business Growth:
Develop and manage budgets, P&L statements, and cost-control measures to maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports and implement data-driven decisions to improve revenue and reduce expenses. Identify new opportunities for growth, including market expansion, menu innovations, and promotional strategies. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and corporate partners to optimize costs and streamline supply chain management.
People & Culture Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of district managers, general managers, and frontline employees to foster a high-performance culture. Recruit, train, and retain top talent, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline within the organization. Drive employee engagement initiatives, creating a positive and inclusive work environment. Oversee performance management processes, ensuring accountability and recognition for outstanding results.
Guest Experience & Brand Excellence:
Ensure all locations maintain the highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service speed. Implement guest feedback mechanisms to continuously improve satisfaction and loyalty. Align operational execution with the brand's vision and values, ensuring a cohesive experience across all units. Monitor and enhance digital, mobile, and in-store service experiences to meet evolving consumer expectations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a Director of Operations (or equivalent senior leadership role) within a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) brand is required. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and cost-control strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives while maintaining hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing business needs. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
