Organize the operation and maintenance of matting installation and service equipment (i.e. Loaders, grapple and hoes).Managing Zanesville yard.
Work with customers to load and unload mats from the yard.
Sort, grade, and clean matting.
Coordinate with logistics and sales to ensure proper inventory levels.
Repair rig mats, including wood and composite mats.
Support in training Matting Operators all aspects of field operations and matting equipment via our SOPs.
Ensure field staff comply to all safety rules and regulations.
Ensure that all field paperwork is completed accurately, signed off and submitted in a timely manner. Including but not limited to daily field tickets, work orders, incident reports, third party, rebills and safety documentation.
Responsible for Strad after hours communication with customers. Coordinate with rest of the team to ensure work is properly addressed even when outside of normal business hours.
Ensure safety compliance both on and off job sites.
Manager day to day customer and employee challenges.
Act as a conflict mediator and help in the resolution of any workplace conflicts.
Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Qualifications3+ years experience with heavy equipment operation is required (i.e. Loaders and hoes).Experience with setting mats with loader and/or grapple is preferred.
Inventory management experience is preferred.
Previous knowledge and experience with Strads matting products is preferred.
Proficient with computers and data entry.
Experience leading field personnel is preferred, with the ability to prioritize work and effectively manage daily yard operations.
Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and hold employees accountable.
Flexible schedule is required.
Commitment to safe working practices and leading by example.
Efficient and display excellent time management skills.
High standards of integrity, energy level, and motivation.
Ability to be insurable for operations of Strads equipment.
Ability to travel and be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer demands.
Requires strenuous activities including walking, bending, climbing and being able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
Must be mentally alert at all times.
Long shifts, regularly 13 hour shifts of work and driving long distances in varying weather conditions.
