Every person in the agency from the Executive Director to the newest member of the direct service personnel must strive to adhere to the founding principle which requires that every minute of every day should be dedicated to providing the people we serve with a day better than the day before. Purpose of Position To ensure the effective overall management of all CLA programs located in the Central Region. In addition, The Operations Director oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of the CLA program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. The position works with the direction and supervision of the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Executive Officer in accordance with the functional precedents, practices, and policies of Valley Community Services.
Essential Functions:
Ensure the effective operations of all assigned residential homes and programs Employs and supervises all Program Specialists within the CLA facilities Ensure that all assigned facilities adhere to effective Admission, Utilization Review and Discharge Activities Create a person-centered environment in all assigned facilities that ensures resident welfare Participate in development of Individual Program Plans and use of appropriate ISP Terminology Ensure accurate and timely Program Records and Reports Ensure successful Consumer Involvement Ensure effective compliance with all state regulations to maintain licensure Adheres to the Agency's philosophy which includes the mission, cause and core values Other Mission Related Duties as
Assigned Education/Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field. A minimum of 5 years in the social service field. 1 to 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management position with similar organizations. Valid driver's license
