Job Description
Lead and oversee on-site catering events from setup through service and breakdown Act as the main point of contact during events, ensuring smooth communication between culinary, service staff, and clients Supervise and support catering staff to ensure high-quality service, proper timing, and attention to detail Execute a wide range of events, from small campus gatherings to larger, high-profile functions Ensure events are set to standards with a strong focus on presentation, hospitality, and guest experience Assist with event logistics, including room setups, service flow, and staffing needs Maintain a professional, calm presence in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Support a positive team culture while delivering exceptional customer service Prior catering, hospitality, or event leadership experience required Opportunity to be part of a people-focused company that values quality, creativity, and community

Properly set up a buffet or serving station, and lift and carry heavy equipment, trays, and dishes. Practice food safety, sanitation practices, and procedures. Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing. Clean all work areas and guest service areas on an ongoing basis. Adhere to SAGE's safety and allergy prevention policies. Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing. What you'll need: Ability to set guest tables with uniform formal place settings. Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station. Creativity and attention to detail to set up tables, linens, and chairs in an appealing manner. Professional appearance and attitude to represent the Team positively. Excellent communication skills to interact with SAGE Team Members and guests. Flexibility and availability to work various shifts, including weekends. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
