In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across all departments. Your leadership will shape strategic planning initiatives, optimize processes, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Responsibilities :
Ownership for leading, developing and managing all operational personnel through establishing accountability and goal-setting focused on achieving and exceeding all company targets and objectives Ownership for identifying efficiency opportunities, developing new processes and leading change initiatives with the focus on continually striving to streamline the operation Responsible for all aspects of daily operations including inventory, shipping, receiving, transportation, building and equipment maintenance, and safety Ensure food handling and presentation procedures are always upheld Accountable for maintaining up-to-date standard operating procedures and policies for all operational departments Responsibility to promote, maintain and lead safe work environment for the entire operation Management leadership responsibility (visible and directional) for all shifts and all company operations Accountable for development and management of annual operating plan Own, develop, manage the performance of warehouse operations Must have an understanding of product specifications across all commodities in the warehouse Responsible for full inventory management and control for all products entering and leaving the warehouse Serve as liaison between Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement Communicate, lead and execute the daily operational direction with all management Hire, train and develop personnel to build bench strength and encourage growth within the company Create new positions to support structure for growth Responsible for management and growth of all ancillary revenue streams including, but not limited to, storage revenue, delivery revenue, pickup revenues Oversee customer support process to maximize the customer experience. Review financial sales and information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability. Must be able to work flexible hours Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills:
3 + years proven experience as Director of Operations or Operations Manager BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field preferred Ability to effectively manage multiple business issues and activities concurrently Possess the skills of being a self-motivator and have the self-discipline with being highly accountable People management skills to effectively select, assess, coach/counsel, develop, motivate, and direct staff within the areas of responsibility Must be willing to work multiple shifts and Saturdays and Sundays to communicate with all staff as needed.
