Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Director of Operations to oversee the performance and operations of a portfolio of select-service hotels. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing financial performance, ensuring brand compliance, and developing high-performing hotel leadership teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven background in multi-property hotel operations who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, achieving financial goals, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Provide operational leadership and oversight for a portfolio of select-service hotels. Partner with General Managers to achieve revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and quality assurance goals. Analyze financial performance, labor costs, and operating expenses to identify opportunities for increased profitability. Conduct regular property visits to evaluate operations, brand standards, guest service, cleanliness, and overall hotel performance. Develop, coach, mentor, and support General Managers and hotel leadership teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement action plans to improve the overall guest experience. Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Human Resources, and Accounting to achieve company objectives. Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital improvement planning. Review operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Lead property openings, transitions, renovations, and special projects as assigned. Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, professionalism, and operational excellence. Assist with recruiting, succession planning, and leadership development across the region. Travel regularly to assigned hotel locations to provide on-site support and operational guidance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of multi-property hotel operations leadership experience. Previous experience as a Regional Director of Operations, Area Director, District Manager, or General Manager overseeing multiple hotels. Experience with nationally recognized hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham, Choice Hotels, Sonesta, or Best Western preferred. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor controls, and profit and loss statements. Proven ability to improve guest satisfaction scores and hotel operational performance. Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with hotel property management systems, Microsoft Office, and hotel performance reporting tools. Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred)
