• San Diego, CA/Southern California Position Summary Seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee multi-unit restaurant operations, drive financial performance, maintain operational consistency, and support continued business growth. This role will lead field management teams, improve store-level profitability, enforce company standards, and implement scalable processes across existing and future locations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, policies, and procedures. Manage store-level financial performance, including P&L reviews, sales growth, labor costs, food and beverage costs (COGS), inventory, and controllable expenses. Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall restaurant performance. Lead, coach, and hold District Managers, Area Managers, and General Managers accountable for performance and results. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify operational gaps, and implement corrective action plans. Ensure effective staffing, recruiting, onboarding, training, retention, and leadership development across all locations. Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, food safety requirements, workplace safety standards, and company policies. Oversee new restaurant openings, underperforming store turnarounds, and the implementation of standardized operating procedures. Coordinate vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and facilities-related needs. Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and recommendations to the CEO. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive restaurant operations experience, including 5+ years in multi-unit leadership. Experience overseeing at least 10 restaurant locations or a comparable multi-unit operation. Proven experience managing P&L performance, labor costs, inventory, COGS, sales, and operating budgets. Demonstrated success improving underperforming locations and driving operational improvements. Experience leading and developing General Managers, District Managers, or Area Managers. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Knowledge of restaurant compliance, food safety, employment regulations, and operational best practices. Ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations. Preferred Qualifications Experience in quick-service restaurant (QSR), fast-casual, or high-volume restaurant operations. Experience with new-store openings, franchised operations, or multi-market expansion. Familiarity with restaurant POS, scheduling, inventory, payroll, and financial reporting systems. Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Operations, or a related field.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below. Director of Operation Pay Scale of Starting Pay for role: $110,000-$150,000

$110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
