ABOUT THE ROLE
Home Keys Team is a growing residential real estate team at Compass. We are looking for a Director of Operations who can help build the systems, structure, and accountability necessary for our continued growth. This is not simply an administrative role. You will own the operational side of the business and help build the infrastructure that allows our agents to focus on clients, sales, and growth.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
Has proven experience (at least 2 years) in real estate operations, administration, or a similar fast-paced environment. Is highly organized and exceptionally detail-oriented. Can manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details. Thinks in systems and processes , not just individual tasks. Is comfortable with technology, CRMs, Google Workspace, and other business tools. Takes ownership and solves problems without waiting to be told what to do. Learns quickly and responds well to feedback. Can create order and structure in a growing business. Is committed to continuously improving how the team operates.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Business Operations — Systems, Organization & Accountability Build, document, and maintain team systems, processes, and SOPs. Establish clear accountability across the team and help ensure responsibilities are being followed through. Track weekly KPIs and provide visibility into team and business performance. Maintain Google Drive and company documentation so information is organized, current, and accessible. Identify inefficiencies and continually improve how the business operates. 2. Marketing Execute the team's marketing plan and ensure initiatives are completed on schedule. Coordinate mailers, email marketing, retargeting, video, and other content initiatives. Track leads and marketing ROI to understand what is working and where we should invest more. Maintain and organize the client database for ongoing marketing and communication. Help identify opportunities to improve lead generation, follow-up, and client engagement. 3. Client Experience Help maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients throughout the client lifecycle. Plan and execute two client appreciation events per year. Coordinate approximately 200 client calls per event to personally invite and engage clients. Develop and implement referral and client retention initiatives. Look for opportunities to strengthen long-term client relationships and increase repeat and referral business. 4. People & Culture Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for agents and employees. Ensure new team members have the tools, information, training, and resources they need to be successful. Plan and execute quarterly team events that strengthen culture and team connection. Conduct employee surveys and help track and improve employee engagement. Help create a team environment where people are accountable, supported, and continuously improving. 5. Meetings & Accountability Establish and maintain the company's meeting cadence and ensure meetings happen consistently. Help plan and run team and leadership meetings. Track action items, responsibilities, and deadlines coming out of meetings. Follow up with team members to ensure commitments are completed. Lead meetings and keep the team organized and on track when Lukas and Phoenix are traveling. 6. Special Projects & Growth Lead and support strategic projects across the business. Research, implement, and improve new systems and tools. Identify and execute process improvements that make the team more efficient and scalable. Support growth initiatives and help turn strategic priorities into actionable plans. Provide operational support for future expansion and new opportunities.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
The team runs smoothly without leadership having to manage every detail. Systems and SOPs are documented, followed, and continually improved. KPIs are consistently tracked and used to drive accountability and decision-making. Marketing initiatives are executed consistently and their results are measurable. Clients receive a consistently excellent experience. The team has strong communication, accountability, and culture. Meetings are organized, productive, and action-oriented. Administrative and operational responsibilities are handled proactively. Team Leads have the ability to step away from the day-to-day operations without the business losing momentum. The team can grow without operations becoming the bottleneck.
COMPENSATION
Salary:
$90,000 - $130,000, based on experience

We care more about results, ownership, and responsiveness than a rigid 9 - 5 schedule.
