Job Description
Who We Are Schneider Home Group is a top real estate team based out of Tremont, IL. Lead by Max Schneider, the team is composed of several high producing agents and ancillary staff. From residential home to recreational properties and farm across the Peoria, Tazewell & Woodford County area, we help our clients make informed, confident decisions at every step. We run on systems, accountability, and genuine care — and we're growing! Why This Role Matters This is a chance to help build the foundation of a growing brand. You'll create the structure that lets our agents focus on what they do best — serving clients and closing deals — while you keep the engine running behind the scenes. If you're energized by both systems and people, and you can combine precision with heart, this is your opportunity to shape the future of a team that takes its standards seriously. About the Role The Director of Operations is the steady backbone and dual engine of the business. You are the master of systems and the protector of our standards — the person who keeps transactions, communication, and coordination moving smoothly across clients, agents, and vendors. On the operations side , you build and run the backend systems that free our agents to focus entirely on production. On the leadership side , you translate that efficiency into results — holding agents accountable to their goals, supporting their growth, and helping the team scale. The right person loves a good checklist as much as they love helping people feel informed and supported. What You'll Do Operations & Back-Office Build the Systems. Create, implement, and manage systems for sellers, buyers, lead generation, database management, and back-office support. Own the Operations Manual. Develop and maintain all team information utilities, standard operating procedures, and process templates. Track Every Transaction. Oversee contracts from signing to close, making sure documentation moves smoothly and nothing slips through the cracks. Keep Leadership Informed. Report on business metrics, budget variances, operational roadblocks, and overall systemic health. Protect the Client Experience. Ensure extraordinary service standards across every operational touchpoint. Manage Resources. Oversee vendors, virtual assistants, technology platforms, and business metrics to drive efficiency and performance. Sales Leadership & Agent Development Accountability & Coaching. Run regular production check-ins, pipeline reviews, and accountability sessions to keep agents on track toward their goals. Pipeline Management. Track key sales metrics — lead-to-appointment, appointment-to-agreement, and pending contracts — for steady, reliable forecasting. Lead Ecosystem Oversight. Monitor lead distribution, database health, CRM use, and follow-up compliance to maximize ROI on our marketing. Training & Onboarding. Help facilitate ongoing training, role-play, and the onboarding of new agents into our culture. Strategy Collaboration. Partner with the Team Leader to align backend operations with front-end campaigns, client events, and community outreach. Light Executive Support. Provide light EA support as the team grows — inbox management, scheduling, and correspondence. Sales Leadership & Agent Development Accountability & Coaching. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency to close loops and keep projects moving. A Systems Thinker. You think through complex models, juggle shifting variables, and use systems to gain a competitive edge. Calm Under Pressure. Solution-focused and steady, skilled at anticipating needs and risks before they surface. Tech-Savvy. Comfortable with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and transaction platforms. A Confident Communicator. Professional and warm by phone, text, and email — able to build trust and create calm in complex situations. A Natural Leader. Friendly and self-assured, you run meetings, track accountability, and drive team alignment while protecting our standards. Real estate operations or administrative experience preferred, but the right mindset and work ethic matter most. First 90 days in-office, 5 days/week, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Hybrid thereafter.
