San Luis Obispo preferred, Remote Considered Position Summary The Household Operations Manager serves as the primary operational partner to a private residence based in San Luis Obispo, California. This role is ideal for a highly organized, tech-fluent professional with experience supporting executives, family offices, or private households at a high level. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across scheduling, financial coordination, travel, household logistics, vendor management, technology systems, and strategic prioritization, ensuring the principal's personal and administrative life runs smoothly, efficiently, and discreetly. The ideal candidate brings the polish and judgment of a senior executive assistant or family office professional, paired with strong operational instincts and a calm, service-oriented presence. This person should be equally comfortable coordinating with advisors, planning travel, managing complex calendars and documentation, troubleshooting technology issues, and proactively solving problems before they arise. The Operations Manager is a hybrid role that will coordinate with a local Household Assistant. Exceptional discretion, emotional intelligence, professionalism, and follow-through are essential. Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & Administrative Operations Manage complex personal and professional calendars, appointments, and scheduling Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries Oversee inbox management, correspondence, and administrative follow-up Maintain organized digital and physical records and documentation systems Track ongoing priorities, deadlines, and projects, as well as family commitments Liaise with other relevant staff coordinate schedules and other needs as they arise Financial Coordination Coordinate bill pay, invoice tracking, and financial documentation Serve as liaison with accountants, attorneys, advisors, and financial institutions Ensure timely and accurate payment to all vendors Assist with organization of financial records and administrative reporting Monitor renewals, subscriptions, contracts, and recurring operational needs Household Operations Oversee vendors, service providers, maintenance schedules, and household logistics Coordinate with household assistant and other outside support providers Troubleshoot technology and operational issues as needed Support planning and execution of personal projects, events, and logistics Strategic Support Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems Create systems and processes that improve efficiency and organization Exercise strong judgment in managing sensitive and confidential matters Help prioritize competing needs while maintaining operational continuity Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting executives, private principals, family offices, or private households Exceptional organizational and project management skills Strong technology fluency, including Apple products, Google Workspace, Zoom, online banking systems, cloud storage, and digital task management tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented under pressure To Apply To apply, email with your resume and a brief cover letter in the body of the email by August 6, 2026.
