Job Description

Laser Setup & Operations Lead - 4-Day Work Week (Mon-Thu) 5+ years of experience with CO₂ and Fiber flat sheet lasers required for high-quality, low-volume medical fabrications We have a permanent, W-2 position available in West Bend with an average employee tenure of over 7 years and a culture that values long-term commitment Hourly pay up to $28.00 based on experience Work schedule is Monday through Thursday (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) for a 3-day weekend every week Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder No remote work Full-time, Permanent W-2 employee status Full benefits provided, including Profit Sharing, 401(k) match, and boot reimbursement No relocation required Located in the West Bend, WI area This full-time, permanent Laser Setup & Operations Lead position is with a stable, privately held custom fabrication company that has been in business for over 30 years. Operating out of a clean, well-lit, and highly organized 30,000 sq. ft. facility, this ISO-certified company specializes in low-volume, high-quality fabrications for the medical and printing industries. With an average employee tenure of over 7 years and a leadership team that is actively involved in day-to-day operations, this is a "drama-free" environment where your skills are valued. The successful candidate's responsibilities should include: Operating CO₂ and Fiber flat sheet metal cutting lasers to produce precise, low-volume fabrications Performing independent machine setups and adjusting in real-time for quality cuts Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure project specifications Using precision measurement tools to verify part dimensions and maintain ISO standards Operating cranes and forklifts safely to handle materials for cutting Collaborating with team members in a team-oriented environment Maintaining a clean and organized work area following lean manufacturing principles The successful candidate must have: 5+ years of experience operating industrial laser cutting machines Ability to perform complex machine setups and troubleshoot independently Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision tools Consistent attendance and physical capability to handle manufacturing tasks Experience with Amada equipment and industrial material handling is a plus US citizenship or Green Card status with a residence within a 45-minute drive of West Bend
