Inspire. Elevate Operations. Pet Resort Hospitality Group (PRHG) is seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Operations (RDOp) to lead and elevate performance across a portfolio of pet resort locations. Based in Metropolitan Detroit, Northern Ohio, and Ft. Wayne, Indiana, this region offers a unique combination of rapid growth, strong local teams, and access to outdoor recreation, vibrant communities, and expanding markets. This is a high-impact, field-based leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, developing strong General Managers, and ensuring every location delivers an exceptional guest experience for both pets and their people. What You'll Do:
Leadership & Operational Excellence Conduct regular on-site visits to evaluate resort performance, team engagement, cleanliness, safety, and guest experience Coach, mentor, and hold General Managers accountable to company standards and performance expectations Partner with HR and Learning & Development to identify leadership gaps and implement development or staffing solutions Financial & Performance Management Own regional financial performance, ensuring revenue, labor, and profitability targets are achieved Review and analyze P&L statements with General Managers; provide coaching on cost control and revenue optimization Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to develop quarterly operational plans and performance goals People & Culture Build and maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement across all locations Support leadership transitions, onboarding, and training for General Managers and key team members Ensure execution of HR, safety, and compliance initiatives across the region Customer Experience Ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience aligned with PRHG brand standards Resolve escalated guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
What We're Looking For:
3-5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience (pet care, hospitality, retail, or service industries preferred) Proven ability to coach and develop leaders to drive performance and engagement Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and improving operational efficiency Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to travel up to 50% and reside within the assigned region Why Join PRHG?
