ASAP Job Overview:
Vertex Fitness Group is a franchisee of JETSET Pilates® — a modern, music-driven Pilates brand on a mission to make transformational fitness accessible, community-centered, and scalable. As we grow across the region, we need a trusted regional operational leader who can own day-to-day performance across multiple studios, elevate every team, and drive consistent results across the portfolio. The Regional Director of Operations / Multi-Unit Operator is the operational backbone across our studios in the region — a confident, high-energy leader who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and performance across multiple locations. You will partner directly with Vertex Fitness Group leadership to translate vision into execution, build a culture clients and staff want to be part of at every studio, and ensure each location is running at its best. 3 Key Responsibilities 1. General Manager Leadership & Development Directly lead, coach, and manage General Managers across the region, setting clear expectations around leadership, commercial performance, operations, and team culture. Hold GMs accountable for the overall performance of their studios, including revenue, membership growth, retention, staffing, scheduling, payroll efficiency, and member experience. Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching conversations to help GMs solve problems, make confident decisions, and operate independently without relying on constant direction. Lead the hiring, onboarding, development, and succession planning of General Managers, while supporting them in building and retaining strong studio teams. 2. Regional Operational Excellence & Client Experience Own regional operational performance, ensuring General Managers consistently deliver against JETSET and Vertex standards while remaining accountable for the day-to-day operation of their individual studios. Monitor performance across locations, identify risks or inconsistencies early, and coach GMs to resolve issues before they become larger operational problems. Build and continuously improve scalable policies, processes, and operating standards that help GMs run their studios effectively and consistently. Track KPIs across operations, client experience, staff performance, utilization, and efficiency, using regional insights and best practices to improve performance across the portfolio. Act as an escalation point for significant operational or client issues that cannot reasonably be resolved at GM level. 3. Sales, Revenue & Business Performance Own commercial performance across the regional portfolio, setting clear expectations for revenue, membership growth, retention, conversion, and profitability while holding each GM accountable for results within their studio. Coach GMs on membership sales, lead conversion, grassroots marketing, retention, re-engagement, local partnerships, and community-building strategies. Review studio performance and P&L indicators across sales, utilization, payroll, expenses, and other key metrics, helping GMs identify what is driving results and where action is needed. Identify performance patterns across locations and determine where additional coaching, regional intervention, new processes, or changes in strategy are required. Serve as the primary operational partner to Vertex Fitness Group leadership and support new studio openings and presale by ensuring each GM has a clear plan, the right resources, and strong accountability for execution.Must Have:
5+ years of multi-unit operations or general management experience, ideally in boutique fitness, hospitality, or a membership-model consumer service environment Proven track record of leading and developing teams across multiple locations in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets across multiple sites and coaching others to do the same Highly analytical—comfortable building reports, interpreting data, and making decisions backed by metrics across a portfolio of locations Nice toHave:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations without losing momentum or attention to detail Outstanding communicator with a warm, outgoing presence that reflects the JETSET brand in every interaction Self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and brings a genuine can-do attitude Passion for health, wellness, and the JETSET Pilates brand—you don't just manage the studios, you believe in what they stand for About JETSET Pilates Vertex Fitness Group owns and operates JETSET Pilates® studios across Northern Virginia, Chicago, and the Twin Cities.
