This position reports to:
Service Operations Manager __ In this role you will be responsible for Field Service Management within Automation Energy Industries Central region of the United States ensuring customer deliverable execution. This role will be responsible for managing a team of Field Service Engineers. The work model for the role is: Hybrid {#LI-Hybrid} This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries Service business in the US. You will be mainly accountable for: Champion health, safety, environmental, security, and regulatory compliance, promoting a strong culture across all field service activities. Lead and develop a regional team of field service professionals, ensuring effective resource planning, performance management, employee development, and operational readiness. Drive financial and contract execution, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments, budget expectations, productivity targets, and business performance objectives. Oversee the successful delivery of field service activities, small projects, and system upgrades, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and coordination across stakeholder groups. Improve customer satisfaction and regional business performance by building trusted customer relationships, supporting local, hub, and global goals. Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, plus 10+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a two-year degree in Process Automation, Computer Science, or a comparable field combined with significant relevant experience and demonstrated accomplishments. Experience with 800xA, Harmony/Symphony Plus, or ABB heritage control systems. Sound knowledge of all ABB Field Service tools and methodologies. General Product knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, Process Instrumentation, Microsoft Networking, Network & Field Communications protocols, and Electrification. Basic industry knowledge of Power Generation & Transmission, Pulp & Paper, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, and Utilities & Water. Excellent communication skills written and verbal (English) with a high attention to detail. Must have a current visa or be authorized to work in the United States.
