Compensation:
$120,000•$140,000 base salary
Benefits:

Work Schedule:
Hybrid schedule with one remote day per week
About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a rapidly expanding national organization, to identify a Senior Manager of Occupational Risk & Claims Strategy. This leadership role will focus on enhancing enterprise-wide workers' compensation programs, improving claims outcomes, and developing scalable risk management processes to support continued growth across multiple locations nationwide.
Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Occupational Risk & Claims Strategy will lead initiatives related to occupational injury management, claims oversight, and operational risk reduction. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership teams to strengthen compliance, improve reporting visibility, and drive long-term claims performance improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic risk management professional who enjoys building programs, leveraging analytics, and influencing operational best practices in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee occupational injury and workers' compensation programs across multiple states and business locations Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and governance standards related to claims management and loss prevention Partner with Operations, HR, Safety, Legal, and Finance teams to improve organizational risk performance and claim outcomes Manage escalated, high-exposure, or litigated claims and provide strategic guidance on resolution approaches Create scalable processes for claims administration, vendor oversight, and performance tracking Analyze claims trends, reserve activity, and financial exposure to support forecasting and risk mitigation efforts Build reporting tools and KPI dashboards to evaluate carrier, broker, and third-party administrator performance Collaborate with safety leadership to identify recurring injury patterns and implement preventative initiatives Ensure compliance with workers' compensation regulations and OSHA-related requirements across multiple jurisdictions Present risk analysis and operational insights to executive leadership teams
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in workers' compensation, occupational risk, claims management, or corporate risk leadership Experience supporting high-volume, multi-site, or operationally intensive organizations Strong understanding of claims financials, reserving methodology, and loss-sensitive insurance structures Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability across departments Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within staffing, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or similar fast-paced industries Background implementing or improving claims management systems and reporting processes Professional certifications such as ARM, CPCU, CSP, or similar credentials Knowledge of California workers' compensation regulations and multi-state compliance requirements
