Senior Operations Manager Position Summary CareBuilders at Home is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to support the onboarding, training, and ongoing operational development of our franchise owners and their teams.
This position serves as an operational resource, educator, and business coach to franchise owners, helping them understand and successfully implement the CareBuilders at Home business model. A key focus of the role is training new franchise owners on Corporate systems, operational processes, caregiver recruitment and onboarding, and the tools needed to successfully operate their businesses.
The Senior Operations Manager will provide both virtual and in-person training and work closely with franchise owners and Corporate departments to identify operational needs, provide continued education, and support consistent implementation of CareBuilders at Home standards and best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and support new franchise owner onboarding and training, including initial Corporate training and follow-up support as owners transition into active operations. Provide hands-on training and ongoing education on key CareBuilders at Home systems, including AxisCare, Apploi, Viventium, company email systems, SOCI, Canva, and other applicable platforms. Conduct in-person and virtual training for franchise owners and their teams. Serve as an ongoing operational resource and business coach, helping owners understand and implement CareBuilders at Home processes and best practices. Conduct structured operational reviews to identify training needs, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Provide education and coaching on caregiver recruitment, applicant management, interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and retention strategies. Assist franchise owners with developing effective office workflows and understanding how Corporate systems work together within their daily operations. Provide operational guidance related to client service, staffing, office management, and business development processes. Develop additional training or performance improvement plans when operational or knowledge gaps are identified. Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials, operational guides, checklists, presentations, and other franchise resources. Provide general regulatory and compliance orientation and connect franchise owners with Corporate HR, Compliance, or other appropriate resources when specialized guidance is needed. Partner with Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, Payroll, Recruiting, Marketing, IT, and other Corporate departments to provide consistent support to franchise locations. Maintain regular communication and follow-up with franchise owners regarding training objectives, operational needs, and progress. Identify recurring operational challenges and communicate trends and training needs to Corporate leadership. Travel to franchise locations for training, operational support, new-location launches, meetings, and other business needs as required. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong training, presentation, and business coaching skills. Ability to educate, motivate, and guide independent franchise owners through a supportive and consultative approach. Strong understanding of business operations, process implementation, and organizational best practices. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple franchise relationships and priorities simultaneously. Strong technology skills with the ability to learn and train others on multiple software platforms. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with Corporate teams. Ability to travel approximately 50%. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Adult Education, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 3-5+ years of experience in operations management, franchise support, corporate training, business consulting, or operational coaching. Experience in non-medical home care, senior care, healthcare, or a related service industry strongly preferred. Experience supporting franchise owners, agency operations, or multi-location operations preferred. Experience with AxisCare, Apploi, Viventium, SOCI, Canva, or similar business systems is highly preferred.
