Job Description

Manage the commissary operations efficiently and accurately within the guidelines established by the agency. Supervise daily reporting and accuracy of all commissary supplies, budgeting, ordering, & receiving. Conduct and document inventory. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accurate records.
Supervise employee/inmate workers:
screen, select, train and evaluate assigned personnel. Provide rehabilitation and self- improvement opportunities for inmates. Manage laundry operations. Accurately account for laundry turn-in and turn-back. Determine serviceability of clothing and eligibility of exchange. Maintain detailed chemical records. Maintain operation/equipment that is safe and healthy as required by OSHA standards. Ensure appropriate maintenance is performed. Administrative functions as assigned/required. Travel required schedule subject to change. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
