Job Description

Dupre' Logistics is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for our office in Spartanburg, SC to support our Site and Private Fleet Services. Dupre' Logistics is a fast growth transportation & logistics provider that is adding to our organization in order to meet and exceed these goals: Provide safe service that's profitable Continue to profitably grow our business Be the employer of choice Key Duties Oversee daily transportation operations to support JIT/JIS manufacturing needs. Manage and coordinate drivers to help ensure customer delivery schedules are consistently met. Track transportation KPIs, including on-time delivery, safety, productivity, and equipment utilization. Ensure adherence to all DOT, FMCSA, company, and customer requirements. Perform driver observations, safety audits, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations. Investigate incidents, accidents, and service failures using root cause analysis and corrective action methods. Work with customer representatives, dispatch, production teams, and warehouse operations to maintain a steady material flow. Manage staffing levels to align with changing production volumes. Monitor driver hours of service and scheduling needs. Lead shift meetings and communicate operational priorities. Support driver recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer expectations.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). At least three years of experience in transportation, fleet operations, logistics, or yard management. Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Thorough understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and transportation compliance requirements. Experience in manufacturing, automotive, Just-in-Time (JIT), or Just-in-Sequence (JIS) operational environments preferred. Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with effective organizational skills.
