They are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a key area of their manufacturing operation, providing leadership, coordinating day-to-day activities, and supporting operational efficiency within a dynamic and specialized business environment.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

Oversee plant operations and production. Provide production oversite, continuous improvement and lean principles Supervise a team of 10 direct reports Work with other departments and oversee them through the supervisors. Including production, maintenance, shipping, quality, supply chain and engineering. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance plans, production improvement plans and cost reductions. Manage plant expenditures within the budget guidelines. Job Requirements

BACKGROUND PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field-preferred.
• 5 + Years of Manufacturing Management Experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, process improvement principles, Lean Principles and overall manufacturing knowledge.
• P&L, Budget and costing experience would be beneficial.
• Ideal candidate would be a quick study and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills, people skills and problem solving are a must.
