This internship offers hands-on experience in food service operations, hospitality, staff management, and fan experience. The Hospitality Assistant will report directly to the Food & Beverage department. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
JOB DUTIES
Assist in all aspects of the Food & Beverage operations for all Lookouts home games and Erlanger Park special events Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and supporting Food & Beverage game day staff while promoting a positive work environment Set up and break down concession stands, food and beer carts, hospitality areas, and premium spaces for game days and events Assists with inventory management and all Food & Beverage deliveries Collaborate with other departments to ensure exceptional gameday experience for all guests Perform operational tasks including cleaning, organizing, stocking, and maintaining service areas Learn and maintain point of sale systems Must be willing to work holidays and extended hours Pull tarp All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The applicant should be a self-motivator who thrives in a team environment; possesses good analytical, interpersonal, and excellent customer service skills; ability to work effectively with attention to detail in a high-volume sales environment; ability to communicate clearly and resolve guest conflicts; goal oriented; quick learner; proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. The Hospitality Assistant may be asked to attend community events. The candidate will also be required to be knowledgeable about the happenings of the Lookouts season and well versed in Chattanooga Lookouts history.
Salary:
$1,200 per month and college credit, if applicable
