ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Collections Operations Lead to lead our team Account Managers/Customer Service Representatives. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for daily team performance, coaching, account oversight, KPIs, and department results. The Lead will work closely with the VP of Operations and have authority to make day-to-day decisions within established company guidelines. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and motivate the team Monitor daily activity, KPIs, and department performance Run and review daily/weekly reports Monitor delinquent accounts and payment arrangements Handle escalated customer situations Manage daily priorities Train and onboard employees Conduct coaching and performance reviews with the VP of Operations Address attendance and performance issues Recommend disciplinary action when appropriate Identify and implement process improvements Maintain quality and accountability across the department Qualifications 5+ years of collections experience required 2+ year of team leadership experience required High school diploma/GED Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working with KPIs and performance metrics Confident handling difficult conversations Strong leadership and accountability skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Rent-to-own experience preferred We're Looking For Someone Who Is Accountability-focused Professional Empathetic Numbers-driven Hands-on Organized Motivating Independent Process-oriented Calm under pressure Compensation & Benefits $44,000-$46,000 base salary + performance-based bonus opportunity , with expected total compensation of approximately $50,000 based on department performance.
