We are headquartered in beautiful Naples, Florida, and nationally ranked as an ENR Top 400 Company. We are searching for an outstanding Director of Field Operations to join our team. If you have 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent, a passion for construction, and an insane need and desire to be part of building great projects, then please read on! What you'll be doing: Understand and know the DD Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsible for training and mentoring all field teams as it pertains to the DD SOPs. Responsible for the execution of the DeAngelis Diamond Standard Operating Procedures by the project team. Establishing a healthy balance of challenge and support. Develop teams in a manner that provides the best possible outcome for DD and their own personal growth. Represent the DD "Built on Safety" culture through leading our teams and projects in the execution of the DD Safety Program. Exhibit effective communication skills to Clients, Design Teams, Subcontractors, and Team Members in accordance with the DD mission of developing authentic relationships while having a positive influence. Maintain an understanding of project(s) status, conduct monthly field audits, attend scheduling and OAC meetings for all projects. Maintain quality throughout construction and closeout. Which includes - Exterior envelope Exterior mockup review in stages Interior Mockup review Life Safety review UL Designs Fire Damper inspections STC Requirement ADA Review Trade, Architect and Owner punch review and execution of quality on time. Experienced in THFC, AHCA, OSHPD, or equivalent. Lead project teams in the execution of the scheduling process delivering projects on or ahead schedule. Collaborate with Preconstruction, Project Executives, and Senior PM's. Proficient in the Development of project schedules, site logistics, and subcontractor agreements. Review with the project site teams. Be available on and off hours as needed. Review and understand the Owner contract. Travel throughout Division's projects, including out of state. What you need for this position: Passion for construction. Be an Ambassador for DeAngelis Diamond and authentically represent the DD Core Values and Mission. Have a vision to early detect field issues and the ability to quickly resolve them in effort to eliminate or limit the impact to the project budget or schedule. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Bluebeam. A desire to learn new technologies and concepts. 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent preferably within our core market projects.
