Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Red Phone Booth Manager plays a pivotal role within our establishment, embodying the principles of "Enlightened Hospitality" while ensuring operational excellence across all facets of our venue. This individual not only leads by example in providing exceptional guest experiences but also drives our team towards achieving and surpassing our business goals. The Venue Manager oversees the day-to-day operations, including sales, staff training, inventory management, and maintaining our high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales:
Implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability, ensuring alignment with our brand's values and guest experience standards.
Training and Development:
Monitor and assess training levels, providing continuous and comprehensive training for all team members. Ensure that new hires receive thorough orientation to meet our service standards.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory control, ensuring efficient use of resources and the availability of necessary items to deliver our menu offerings flawlessly.
Operational Excellence:
Execute all systems and protocols daily to maintain a clean, organized venue that delivers the highest quality service. Adhere to performance and profit expectations as set by corporate guidelines.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and inspire team members to excel in their roles, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and hospitality.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain a working knowledge of all equipment, overseeing its upkeep and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Service Standards:
Uphold our high service standards throughout the operational day, setting an example for the team in guest interaction and service delivery.
Recruitment:
Lead the recruitment and hiring process for hourly staff (FOH & BOH), aligning with the guiding principles of our culture.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with staff, marketing, and the Director of Operations to uphold our 5-star review status.
Marketing Collaboration:
Work closely with the Marketing Director to support and execute marketing initiatives and events.
Leadership:
Foster an environment of excitement, positivity, and dedication towards our company objectives and guest satisfaction.
Culture Champion:
Embrace and propagate our culture of fellowship, ensuring memorable experiences for guests and a cohesive community within the staff.
Qualities & Skills Required:
Proven experience in hospitality management, with a strong background in food, beverage, and/or cigar service. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on detail and the capability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with guests, team members, and community. Flexibility and creativity in problem-solving, with a readiness to go above and beyond to meet guest expectations and business needs. Deep appreciation for and commitment to delivering unparalleled guest experiences, in line with Danny Meyer's philosophy of "Enlightened Hospitality."
