Program Site Manager - Chemical Services Spring Hill, TN | On-Site | Individual Contributor Role About the Opportunity The Site Program Manager oversees chemical management operations at a major manufacturing facility. This position provides site leadership, manages inventory, ensures customer requirements are met, and drives safety, quality, cost savings, and continuous improvement.

offered salary will depend on experience and education level What You'll Do Manage day-to-day Chemical Management Services (CMS) operations and ensure contractual requirements are met. Provide leadership, coaching and support to internal, Tier 2, and customer personnel. Manage chemical inventory, shipments, product usage, and Just-in-Time (JIT) requirements. Monitor spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and develop performance and savings reports. Serve as the primary liaison with the customer to resolve operational and service issues. Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, regulatory, and customer requirements. Develop and maintain site procedures and work instructions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and track projects and savings. Monitor customer performance metrics and ensure accurate monthly reporting and invoicing. Conduct site meetings and share best practices across other facilities. What You Bring Experience in the procurement of industrial chemicals Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry , or related field; equivalent experience considered. 2-4 years of chemical management experience , preferably in manufacturing. Chemical testing/titration experience preferred. Experience with contract administration, negotiation, or implementation. Knowledge of industrial safety programs (including SDS processes) Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is a plus. MUST be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen that includes testing for THC (marijuana). Work Environment This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires regular presence on the manufacturing floor, including extended periods of walking and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Less than 5% overnight travel may be required.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
