We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to support the President in all daily operations of the business. The ideal candidate will be able to take quick, on-the-job instruction to complete tasks at hand. An Operations Manager is responsible for helping keep track of the big picture and working with leadership and partners to identify potential areas of improvement. Responsibilities Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company's overall goals. Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities. Effectively work with Cross Functions of the organization. Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits. Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives. Communicating with senior leadership to shift company priorities and projects. Identifying potential points of friction or problems and working to suggest solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue. Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course to take advantage of changes in the market. Other tasks as requested by the President Requirements College degree 10+ years business experience Electrical Supply Distribution Industry experience Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management Knowledge of business and management principles and practices Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices Knowledge of project management principles and practices Information technology skills
