Producers Midstream is an equity backed midstream service provider located in Dallas, TX. We are seeking a Compression Supervisor to be responsible for Scurry, TX. Position Summary The Compression Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of natural gas compression facilities within the midstream segment. This role ensures compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while leading a team of technicians to maintain optimal performance of compression as Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
Supervise day-to-day operations of compression stations, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
Maintenance & Reliability:
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for compressors, engines, and auxiliary systems. Ensure adherence to OEM specifications and company maintenance programs. Develops, implements and/or enhances work processes relating to maintenance/operation of mechanical equipment.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations in all activities. Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other applicable standards. Safe, environmentally responsible, compliant & efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment
Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and mentor compression technicians and operators. Schedule work assignments and manage workforce productivity. Develops Goals and Objectives with Mechanical Technicians Performs Mid-Year Reviews with Mechanical Technicians Performs Year End Personal assessments
Budget & Reporting:
Prepare operational reports, KPI tracking, and reliability metrics for management review. Provides assistance with development & oversight for Compression Capex and Opex Budgets.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize compression efficiency and reduce operating costs. Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements. Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
Experience:
5+ years in natural gas compression operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, engines, and control systems.
Skills:
Leadership and team management. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in CMMS and operational reporting tools. Working Conditions Field-based role with frequent travel to compression sites. Exposure to outdoor environments and rotating on-call responsibilities. Equal Employment Opportunity Employer powered by
