Description Laundry Manager Horseshoe Bay Resort | Crescent Hotels & Resorts Position Summary The Laundry Manager oversees all resort laundry operations, ensuring the timely processing and distribution of linens and uniforms while maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, team productivity, and guest satisfaction. This leader is responsible for department performance, budgeting, safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and employee development. Essential Responsibilities Operations & Financial Management Oversee all laundry operations, including washing, drying, finishing, and distribution of linens and uniforms.
Maintain efficient workflows and production schedules to meet resort demands.
Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, payroll, and operating expenses.
Monitor inventory and order supplies, chemicals, linens, and uniforms within budget.
Partner with Engineering to maintain laundry equipment and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
Evaluate and implement process improvements, equipment, and technologies that enhance productivity and quality.
Respond to operational challenges and develop contingency plans for equipment downtime and peak business periods. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on productivity, quality, and service.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and respect.
Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and development opportunities.
Support cross-training initiatives to strengthen operational flexibility and career growth. Guest & Internal Service Partner with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other departments to ensure operational needs are met.
Maintain quality standards for all linens and uniforms.
Resolve service concerns promptly and implement effective solutions.
Promote a service-focused culture that supports exceptional guest experiences. Human Resources Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and retain team members.
Manage staffing levels, attendance, and labor productivity.
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
Administer coaching, corrective action, and recognition programs in accordance with company policies.
Maintain a positive work environment through open communication and employee engagement. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED.
Two years of supervisory or management experience in laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and departmental budgets.
Knowledge of laundry equipment, production processes, and workplace safety practices.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Hotel, resort, commercial laundry, or healthcare laundry experience.
Experience leading multi-shift operations.
Familiarity with payroll, labor management, and performance management systems. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and laundry equipment.
Perform repetitive physical tasks as required.

Education
Some college (preferred)
High School (required)
Experience
Strong background in employee coaching, hiring, training, and performance management. Experience collaborating with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and other operational departments to deliver exceptional service, support guest satisfaction, and achieve business objectives. (required)
Experience managing departmental budgets, labor costs, scheduling, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. Demonstrated success leading teams in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity goals, controlling expenses, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards (required)
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience in a hotel, resort, commercial laundry, healthcare, or related hospitality environment. Proven ability to oversee daily laundry operations, manage employee performance, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient production workflows. (required)
