About Us Deufol Worldwide Packaging is a global leader in industrial packaging, export packing, and supply chain solutions. We partner with some of the world's leading manufacturers and energy companies to deliver innovative packaging and logistics services. We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Houston operations across two facilities. Position Summary As the Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and customer relationships for our Volta and Fallbrook locations in Houston. Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you'll lead a team of Working Area Leads and administrative staff while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, managing customer relationships, and driving operational excellence. What You'll Do Lead daily operations across two Houston facilities Own site performance, including safety, quality, productivity, cost, and on-time delivery Manage P&L, budgets, labor planning, and cost control Develop, coach, and support Working Area Leads and administrative staff Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as the primary operational contact Drive continuous improvement initiatives using PDCA and Lean principles Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, quality standards, and company safety policies Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory management, and cross-site material movement Partner with Sales, HR, Finance, Quality, and EHS to support business growth and operational success Support quoting, pricing, and onboarding of new customer programs Qualifications 5+ years of operations, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing management experience Previous leadership experience managing multiple teams or multiple sites preferred Strong experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational KPIs Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams Excellent customer service and account management skills Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP and Inconso WMS experience is a plus) Knowledge of OSHA regulations, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
