Job Description
The E&I Field Engineer assists the Project Manager and Field Superintendent in managing all aspects of the Project including the organization, planning, scheduling, subcontractor scheduling and day-to-day issues, in a manner that results in completion of the Project on time, on budget and a quality that meets or exceeds the Customers and Company expectations. By ensuring proper Company/Customer procedures are followed and established and schedules are adhered to. Job Duration
- Approximate 6.5/7 months Job Schedule
- M-F, 10 hour days (minimum 50 hours/week) Inclement weather/other make up on Saturday/Sunday Per Diem
- $125.
Qualifications:
Must have prior E&I Field Engineer Experience ( 3 years) Willing to travel and have reliable transportation Must have a valid driver license and be insurable Industrial Electrician ( 4 years) Excellent written/verbal communication skills Must pass pre-employment and random drug screens Duties and Responsibilities (Inclusive of, but not limited to): As required, interact with key members of the Project Team and Client Organization to develop overall project construction plans and master schedules as well as detailed system turnover schedules. Must have ability to understand and analyze durations and logic of all phases of the E&I Project to ensure credibility of the schedule and to clearly convey critical and near-critical paths. Provide scenario "what if" planning and quantitative risk analysis of schedule. Set up, prepare and maintain weekly/monthly Project and program reports including quantitative progress and analysis, schedule performance, cost forecasting and cash flow forecasting Possess ability to direct and lead others, clearly convey information, actively communicate and work in a collaborative manner. Possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Regular and reliable attendance at work. Realize/review changes in the Scope of Work and initiate and track Change Orders.Experience and Skills required:
