Job Description

Operations Manager to oversee daily manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading production teams, improving operational efficiency, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics operations. Lead, coach, and develop production, warehouse, and logistics personnel. Plan staffing, production schedules, and resource allocation to meet customer deadlines. Monitor production performance and establish KPIs to improve efficiency and productivity. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve workflow. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Oversee quality control processes to ensure compliance with customer and company standards. Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships. Coordinate domestic and international shipping operations, including import/export documentation. Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and cost-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to senior leadership. Collaborate with engineering, customer service, procurement, and logistics teams to support business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of Operations Management experience in manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or logistics environments. Strong leadership experience managing production or warehouse teams. Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement programs. Knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and supply chain operations. Experience managing budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and operational reporting. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ISO quality standards and OSHA safety regulations is preferred. Import/export, freight forwarding, or industrial packaging experience is a plus.
