Description:
Wallstreet Sand Co. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee production, maintenance, and logistics at our high-volume sand mining facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining or oilfield operations, with a preference for sand mining experience. This role is critical for ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant plant operations while supporting both field and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily production schedules and workforce planning. Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency. Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and optimize equipment uptime. Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and company safety policies. Serve as the primary liaison between plant leadership, field crews, and corporate teams.
What we offer:
Competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000/year, based on experience. Performance-based bonus structure. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Weekly pay via direct deposit.
Requirements:
3-5 years of operations or supervisory experience in mining, sand, or aggregate industries. Knowledge of MSHA reporting requirements and site inspections; MSHA certification preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
