About the role The Operations FP&A Manager serves as the primary finance business partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Project Management teams. This role provides financial leadership and analytical support to drive operational performance, improve forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory and working capital, and enhance profitability. The position focuses on inventory management, raw materials oversight, WIP reporting, operational forecasting, manufacturing KPI reporting, project financial tracking, and decision support. Primary Responsibilities Lead operational forecasting for production volumes, labor, material consumption, manufacturing costs, inventory and working capital. Partner with Operations leadership to identify financial risks and opportunities. Analyze raw material, WIP and finished goods inventories and drive inventory turn improvements. Monitor inventory aging, excess inventory and obsolescence exposure. Establish and maintain robust WIP reporting and forecasting processes. Track project costs, margins, labor utilization and forecasted outcomes. Develop and maintain manufacturing KPI dashboards and performance analytics. Perform variance analysis, root-cause analysis and profitability assessments. Support capital investment evaluations and operational improvement initiatives. Serve as a trusted business partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Project leaders. Key Manufacturing KPIs Production Volumes Capacity Utilization Labor Efficiency Scrap and Rework Costs Yield Performance Gross Margin Material Cost Variances Inventory Turns WIP Aging Working Capital Required Qualifications Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field. 7+ years in FP&A, Operations Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or Supply Chain Finance. Strong knowledge of inventory, working capital, forecasting and manufacturing analytics. Advanced Excel and ERP experience; SAP preferred. Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools preferred. Ideal Candidate Profile Operationally focused FP&A professional. Strong business partnering and communication skills. Comfortable working with plant managers, supply chain leaders and project managers. Able to translate operational performance into actionable financial insights.
