Job Description:
Oversees daily operations, maintenance, and repair of gas compression systems across a regional production area. Coordinates contractor activities, ensures safety compliance, and supports troubleshooting, reporting, and training efforts.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Maintenance:
Perform daily compressor and facility operations Troubleshoot field issues on-site and via remote monitoring Schedule and coordinate compressor repairs Maintain accurate downtime and extended outage reporting
Field Oversight & Compliance:
Supervise 10-30 contractors; ensure safe and timely execution of work Audit JSAs and contractor adherence to safety policies Conduct inspections, purging, and LDAR activities Use work platforms to create and assign vendor work requests
Training & Collaboration:
Interact daily with Foremen, Operators, Mechanics, and contractors Support Supervisor-assigned tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Preferred•Skilled in compressor operations, diagnostics, and facility maintenance Preferred•Familiarity with remote monitoring platforms and reporting systems
Soft Skills:
Strong communicator Safety-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented
