Onsite Salary:
$40-$50 per hourTravel:
50% or more, including overnight travel Description We are looking for a Field Service Supervisor to lead our field services team and provide hands-on support to utility, industrial, and alternative energy clients. In this role, you'll travel to customer sites, perform field sampling and equipment services, supervise technicians, and serve as a key point of contact for customers. You'll also help coordinate schedules, maintain safety and compliance requirements, manage field equipment, and identify opportunities to support additional products and services. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, working with customers, and helping a team succeed. What You'll Be Doing Travel to local and out-of-state customer sites to provide field sampling and equipment installation services. Sample insulating liquids from energized and de-energized electrical equipment for laboratory testing. Perform inspections of electrical equipment as needed. Supervise and support field technicians and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and company performance goals. Serve as a primary field contact for customers and provide technical and customer service support. Provide guidance on testing, resampling, and additional field service needs. Identify leads and opportunities for additional products and services. Ensure technicians have the proper training, certifications, tools, equipment, and supplies. Manage safety, compliance, and risk requirements through platforms such as ISNetworld and Avetta. Ensure proper handling, training, and disposal of hazardous materials. Manage drug testing and required industry certifications for the field services team. Coordinate with the Field Services Coordinator to maximize projects and billable hours. Schedule and track employee hours, projects, expenses, mileage, and operating costs. Maintain field service equipment, vehicles, tools, and supplies in an organized condition. Provide additional administrative, technical, laboratory, or sales support as needed. What You Must Have High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Certification (or ability to complete certification) and previous training on operation of infrared cameras and/or partial discharge (PD) detection devises. Previous experience working in an industrial or field service environment. Customer service experience and the ability to work directly with customers. Ability to travel 50% or more, including overnight stays. Ability to maintain a safe driving record. Ability to work independently with limited daily supervision. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and continue developing professionally. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Previous supervisory experience, particularly in field services. Mechanical skills and hands-on technical experience. Relevant certifications or the ability to complete required certifications.
