POSITION OVERVIEW - GVI
Operations Manager This role oversees the end-to-end operations of Galaxy Value Innovation business activities from device collection via trade-in, through production, to outbound shipping, customer delivery, and RMA returns — across Coppell (MPC/LPS/eComm) and SEV sites. The role leads activity planning processes, supports business planning and budgeting, and reports on key metrics and KPIs to senior leadership, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure production targets and operational efficiencies are met. The role sits between pure strategy and floor-level production, roughly equal parts operational execution and data/reporting. Functioning as an operational program manager who uses data to drive decisions and keep teams accountable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop activity planning processes and ensure adoption across business units Play a lead role in the development of business plans, planning, and budgeting activities Create goals and KPIs for regional and global strategies as set out by senior leadership Report to senior leadership and key stakeholders on key metrics and KPIs on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis Support in establishing and running operational processes Create materials and presentations for team meetings, off-sites, and other key events Oversee and manage internal end-to-end operations of GVI business activities (Coppell (MPC/LPS/eComm), SEV, etc.) Manage all inventory processes related to internal CRN, Refurb, BR, CTC, customer order fulfillment, RMA, aging inventory movements, and issue resolution Manage all aspects of GVI production at Coppell and SEV, Demand Fulfillment (DF), logistics, and RMA operational activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MPC, SP, LPS/Warehouse, and Sales) to ensure all production targets are met Manage overall operational efficiencies, KPIs, and process improvements for the GVI (CRN & Refurb) category Perform monthly MTV counts and semi-annual Physical Inventory (PI) counts as required Provide inventory control support (aging and blocked stock) Perform regular risk assessment analysis and provide recommendations and support Build simulation-style forecast reports in Excel projecting production outlook, shipping plans, and near-term daily/weekly forecasts for current and future quarters Interpret raw data from multiple teams and formats to identify operational risks versus smooth-running areas, translating findings into actionable operational decisions Serve as the operational point of contact across logistics teams, warehouse staff, and executive leadership Oversee logistics timelines and deadlines through accountability and coordination with logistics partners, rather than hands-on logistics execution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related subject Previous experience in a decision-making/strategic management role within a large organization 8-10 years of experience Advanced Excel proficiency required — VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, cell/column functions, and simulation-style formulas; must be hands-on proficient building calculations directly in Excel Basic PowerPoint/presentation skills Strong adaptability and ability to quickly learn and apply new processes; prior role tenure or title matters less than demonstrated operational execution capability Strong verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively across multiple audience levels, from warehouse/logistics teams to executive leadership Ability to work independently and manage one's time Ability to collaborate with other business units and senior stakeholders
