In this role, you'll work with merchants and internal teams to address operational issues, improve processes, and keep marketplace activities running efficiently. You'll be responsible for managing merchant-related workflows, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve the overall merchant experience. We're looking for someone who is organized, comfortable working across different teams, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Oversee day-to-day merchant operations and marketplace workflows. Serve as a point of contact for merchant-related operational issues. Support the onboarding and ongoing management of merchants using the platform. Work with merchants to resolve account, product listing, order, and operational issues. Monitor merchant activity and identify issues that may affect marketplace performance. Coordinate with customer support, operations, technology, and other internal teams to resolve problems. Develop and improve processes that make merchant operations more efficient. Track merchant performance and prepare regular reports for management. Help ensure merchants follow established marketplace policies and operational standards. Manage escalated merchant concerns and coordinate appropriate solutions. Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements. Support marketplace projects and new operational initiatives. Maintain accurate records related to merchant accounts and activities. Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, E-Commerce, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in marketplace operations, merchant operations, e-commerce, account management, or a related area. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Experience working with merchants, vendors, business customers, or external partners. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle escalated issues professionally and work toward practical solutions. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and business software. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different teams. Experience with e-commerce or online marketplace platforms is preferred.
