Full Job Description Role Overview:
The Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging provides direct patient care in imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education. They assist physicians and technologists with procedures such as CT, MRI, US, Radiography, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Card Lab, while performing supportive clinical skills like IV therapy, respiratory care, and medical emergency response. They maintain infection control standards, accurately document patient information, and support a safe environment by managing equipment and supplies. The RN upholds patient rights, collaborates with team members, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications include RN licensure, 3+ years experience, BLS certification, and proficiency with medical equipment. Preferred skills include a Bachelor's degree, ACLS, and imaging-specific certifications. The role involves teamwork, communication, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
