Director of Operations FRDM Turf Draper, UT Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $120,000 a year 9 days ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Microsoft Excel Operations management Team management Organizational skills Project leadership Project scheduling Full Job Description Overview The Director of Operations is responsible for driving execution across markets—owning production, project delivery, quality control, and operational scale. This is a field-informed leadership role. You will set the standard, build systems, and hold teams accountable to elite performance. You are not managing from a desk—you understand job sites, timelines, crews, and what it takes to deliver at a high level. You will work cross-functionally with sales, project management, and installation partners to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and at FRDM's standard of excellence. Responsibilities Own operational performance across markets (timelines, quality, margins) Build and enforce systems for project execution and reporting Lead and develop Project Managers and Operations team members Drive accountability across crews, vendors, and partners Identify bottlenecks and solve them quickly and permanently Ensure accurate forecasting, scheduling, and job costing Standardize processes across markets to enable scalable growth Conduct job site visits and audits to maintain quality standards Partner with sales to ensure clean handoffs and accurate scopes Use data to drive decisions—track KPIs, production metrics, and performance trends Step in to solve high-level operational or customer issues when needed Experience & Requirements 5-10+ years in operations, or project management Strong project management background (required) Advanced Excel / data analysis skills (required) Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously Job site / field experience strongly preferred Experience in solar, construction, landscaping, or home services (highly preferred) Proven ability to build systems and scale operations Strong leadership presence—direct, accountable, and solutions-oriented High ownership mindset with the ability to operate under pressure Excellent communication and organizational skills Compensation & Growth Competitive base salary + performance bonus Leadership role with direct impact on company growth
