$0 - $50,000 (Depending on the performance of you and your teams) About the Role TAF Construction is seeking a true blue-collar BMF to lead our steel erection crews on high-profile pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects across the state. This role keeps everything running at the highest level, on time, on budget, and with zero safety incidents. You will oversee multiple crews, manage logistics, resolve erection issues in the field, and serve as the hands-on leader who ensures our PEMB jobs are executed perfectly. If you live and breathe steel erection and pre-engineered metal buildings, can read plans cold, and can lead crews all day and still jump into a boardroom when needed, this is your seat at the table. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee multiple TAF steel erection crews (each led by a Crew Lead with 3-6 members), making sure every team has what they need and hits company standards for safety, quality, and production. Coordinate transportation, logistics, and daily movement between job sites so projects stay on schedule. Be the go-to point of contact for foremen on all building process questions; resolve erection issues with the Executive Team, manufacturers, suppliers, subs, generals, and customers. Strong written/email communication required. Receive and review daily reports from Crew Leads on progress, safety, and issues; then coordinate solutions with leadership. This is a true hands-on field role. You'll be out there driving a truck + 40' trailer (CDL preferred), lifting 75+ lbs, and slinging steel yourself when needed. Qualifications An extensive background in PEMB / pre-engineered metal buildings and steel erection is required; you must truly understand the nuances of these systems. Ability to independently read plans, spot issues, create unique solutions, and lead/teach/build PEMB crews at the highest level. Proven track record in managing multiple steel erection crews while keeping morale high and company culture strong. You must be a boots-tight, bags-on, steel-slinging master who can transition straight into a board meeting with industry leaders and represent Safety, Quality, and Production without equal.
