Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Manager to oversee key day-to-day financial processes. This role will help manage expenses, refunds, subscriptions, invoices, and QuickBooks categorization while helping leadership make smart financial decisions. Responsibilities Review and approve company expenses based on established guidelines. Evaluate company spending and identify unnecessary or duplicate expenses. Categorize transactions accurately in QuickBooks and keep financial records organized. Review and process customer refunds while helping create a consistent strategy for when refunds should be approved. Track refund trends and identify recurring issues. Manage company subscriptions and recurring expenses, including reviewing renewals and canceling unused services. Review incoming invoices for accuracy and ensure approved invoices are paid appropriately. Track payments, credits, and related financial documentation. Identify unusual charges, spending patterns, or financial inconsistencies. Recommend improvements to financial processes and expense controls. Provide leadership with financial summaries and recommendations when needed. Qualifications Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance operations, accounts payable/receivable, or a related role. Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable reviewing expenses, transactions, invoices, and refunds. Strong judgment and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, customers, and leadership. Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly. We want someone who will take ownership of financial operations rather than simply process transactions. The right person will notice when something does not look right, ask questions, look for ways to reduce unnecessary spending, and help keep our financial processes organized and efficient.
